River Rally Itinerary

All riders welcome: Vintage Scooters, New Scooters, Custom Scooters, Mopeds, and even Chupacabra.


  • LOCATION: Double Rockin R Campgrounds


    • Friday, May 16th (you may arrive as early as you like)
    5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Registration
    7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Dinner on your own in Gruene
    9:00 P.M. - until you pass-out Drink, trip over other people's tents, fire jumping, and general merriment.
    Saturday, May 17
    9:00 - 11:00 A.M. Registration and Breakfast – Catered by Dawn Brooks (Ne'er do WellsSC,SA) of Lisa Brooks Catering/Gourmet Fresco Cafe. Continental Breakfast to include: Coffee, Bagels w/cream cheese, pastry, fresh fruit....possible banana smoothies....oranges and possibly fresh squeezed orange juice.
    11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Official Long Ride
    1:00 - 4:00 P.M. Free Time!
    4:00 - 7:00 P.M. Gymkhana, Bike Judging, Games (slow race, baby pool race, drag race, Sprinter Race)
    7:00 - 8:00 P.M. Dinner catered by Dawn Brooks (Ne'er do WellsSC,SA) of Lisa Brooks Catering/Gourmet Fresco Cafe: Sausage on a Stick, Veggie Kabobs, Pinto Beans, Potato Salad, All the condiments, Cookies, and 1 Iced Cold Bottled Water per participant.
    9:00 - 11:00 P.M. Karaoke
    11:00 P.M. Party in to the night
    Sunday, May 18
    9:00 - 11:00 A.M. Breakfast catered by Dawn Brooks (Ne'er do WellsSC,SA) of Lisa Brooks Catering/Gourmet Fresco Cafe. Continental Breakfast, possibly some Breakfast tacos
    11:00 - 12:00 P.M. Awards, Raffle
    12:00 P.M. Thank you for coming. It’s time to go home

     * I-35 South
 * EXIT #189 (46 West) Loop 337
 * Turn RIGHT onto Loop 337 (46 West)
 * Then proceed to appropriate location below

    FROM SAN ANTONIO / CORPUS CHRISTI
     * I-35 North
 * EXIT #188 & follow it to Loop 337 (46 West)
 * Turn LEFT onto Loop 337 (46 West)
 * Then proceed to appropriate location below

    FROM HOUSTON
     * I-10 West to Seguin.
 * EXIT Highway 46 West & turn RIGHT.
 * Drive 13 miles to New Braunfels.
 * Continue travelling West 46 (Loop 337)
 * Go under I-35 & continue travelling West 46 (Loop 337)
 * Then proceed to appropriate location below

    DOUBLE ROCKIN' R
     * Continue on Loop 337/Hwy 46 2 miles.
 * Turn right on River Terrace before crossing the Guadalupe.
 * The Double Rockin' R is beside Gruene Harley-Davidson.
